Are you a self-motivated, organized, and disciplined individual with a knack for mechanics? We are currently seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Greensboro, NC. You'll have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 5pm (occasionally able to leave at 4:30pm) in a fast-paced and supportive environment. If you possess the ability to manage a team, diagnose and repair equipment, and maintain daily logs to track progress, we want to hear from you!
 
Job Title: Shop Mechanic
Location: Greensboro, NC
 
Responsibilities:
 
Lead and manage a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization and its equipment, including forklifts, sandblast and spray equipment.
Complete and maintain daily logs and paperwork to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Open and lock up the shop on a daily basis, ensuring security measures are followed.
Diagnose and repair equipment, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
Test, inventory, and label all equipment for accountability.
Keep daily inventory of all equipment and materials checked out/in.
Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and property grounds.

Requirements:
 
Previous experience in a mechanical role, preferably as a Shop Mechanic.
Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined with strong attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
Ability to diagnose and repair equipment, showcasing excellent mechanical knowledge.
Proficient in maintaining accurate logs, paperwork, and inventory records.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
