Shift Time: Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 4:30pm, Sometimes Friday

Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Sander/Gluer to join our production team. This position is responsible for sanding, gluing, and assembling wood or laminated components to ensure high-quality finishes and strong bonds according to production specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in woodworking or manufacturing environments, good attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, sand, and finish wood, veneer, or composite parts using hand tools, power sanders, and other finishing equipment.
Apply adhesives or glues accurately and evenly to materials according to production standards.
Assemble glued components using clamps, jigs, or presses to ensure proper alignment and bonding.
Inspect parts for defects, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy before and after gluing.
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, or assembly instructions to ensure correct production specifications.
Monitor drying or curing times, ensuring glued assemblies are set before moving to the next production stage.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and materials are handled safely.
Perform minor machine maintenance and notify supervisors of any mechanical or material issues.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Support team operations by assisting in material handling, sanding, finishing, or assembly tasks as needed.
