CURRENTLY SEEKING EXPERIENCED HVAC PROJECT FOREMANS!
The Bradley Group is hiring for one of the leading industrial HVAC engineering, manufacturing, and construction companies in the southeastern United States. We are growing rapidly and currently seeking EXPERIENCED Project Foremen to join one of our manufacturing plants in Browns Summit, North Carolina
Project Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation of heavy equipment, painting, steel erection, and sheet metal work in the field of modular construction. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment operating skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. The Project Foreman will assist the project superintendent to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. .
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and material requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
Collaborate with the construction team to schedule and sequence tasks for efficient project execution.
Supervision and Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of workers, including equipment installers, painters, steel erectors, and sheet metal workers.
Provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure the team works cohesively towards project goals.
Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations from project requirements.
Equipment Installation: Oversee the installation of heavy equipment components.
Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and functionality of installed equipment.
Coordinate with project managers and other departments
Steel Erection and Sheet Metal Work:
Manage the erection of steel structures according to engineering and design specifications.
Supervise sheet metal installation, including ductwork and ventilation systems.
Monitor welding, cutting, and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Painting and Finishing:
Coordinate painting activities, including surface preparation and application of protective coatings.
Ensure proper color matching and finishing techniques are applied.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and durability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in modular construction projects.
Strong knowledge of environmental air systems, heavy equipment installation, steel erection, and sheet metal work.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them in the plant.
