Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Line to join our team in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques, as well as operating and maintaining paint line equipment to ensure high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications.
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Pay:15.50
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and hanging parts on the paint line.
Apply powder coating using spray guns and automated systems, ensuring even and consistent application.
Operate and monitor curing ovens, ensuring parts are baked according to required time and temperature specifications.
Inspect finished parts for quality, thickness, and overall finish.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, spray booths, and work area.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inventory levels.
Work collaboratively with team members in fabrication, assembly, and shipping departments.
Identify and report any defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
