Master Scheduler

Job Description
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the master production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing production efficiency and inventory levels. This role plays a critical part in ensuring on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment between production, materials, and procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets.
Coordinate with production, procurement, inventory control, and logistics teams to ensure schedule alignment and capacity planning.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, or production issues.
Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
Analyze capacity constraints and lead time requirements to ensure optimal workflow and resource utilization.
Maintain scheduling data within the ERP/MRP system and ensure accurate reporting and performance metrics.
Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes to align production plans with business objectives.
Track KPIs such as schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and production efficiency.
