Job Description


The woodworker shop operator and frame builder is responsible for operating and maintaining various woodworking machines like saws, sanders, drill presses to cut, shape wood components according to specifications, ensuring quality, and safety standards from patterns. Combining the ability of woodworking skills to assemble furniture frames following detailed specifications. Key Responsibilities: Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions Utilize tools and machines such as tape measure, large staple guns, screwdrivers, grinder, bandsaw, drills, and levels. Must be able to ensure all specifications are met for the order This position requires manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high quality standards. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily. Requires lifting 50 lbs. occasionally Experience/Certifications/Education: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience with furniture manufacturing.
