Maintenance Technician

Shift Time: Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 4:30pm, Sometimes Friday

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plant Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production and facility equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery, tools, and building systems to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life.
Install, align, and calibrate new or rebuilt machinery and components as needed.
Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and document all work performed in CMMS or maintenance logs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform repairs or equipment modifications.
Collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement and maintain production schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policies.
Assist with facility maintenance tasks including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
Order and maintain spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
Participate in training, safety meetings, and improvement projects as required.
