Job Description

Job Title: Panel Saw Operator
Shift Time: Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 4:30pm, Friday's case by case.

Pay: Based on experience



Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Saw Operator to join our production team. The Panel Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining panel saw equipment to cut wood, laminate, or composite panels according to precise measurements and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or woodworking environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate panel saw machines (manual or CNC-controlled) to cut materials such as plywood, MDF, laminate, or composite panels to specified dimensions.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cutting lists to determine cutting sequences and material requirements.

  • Measure, mark, and align materials to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.

  • Load and unload materials onto the saw table, ensuring proper positioning and safety.

  • Monitor cutting quality and accuracy, making adjustments to saw settings or blades as needed.

  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, blade changes, and equipment checks to keep machines in optimal working condition.

  • Inspect finished panels for quality, dimensions, and surface condition before sending them to the next production stage.
