2nd Shift Forklift Driver
Job Description
Job Title: Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating an industrial forklift to transport materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to and from machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas
Follow production schedules and shipping orders to ensure timely material delivery
Secure loads using protective materials and remove/dispose of packaging after delivery
Stack and organize pallets, skids, drums, and supplies in designated areas
Report damaged materials or equipment issues to a supervisor
Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical problems
Qualifications:
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Valid driver’s license
Forklift certification (or ability to pass on-site evaluation)
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Lift up to 50 lbs
Stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods (8+ hours)
Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
Required to wear safety glasses and follow all safety guidelines
Shift: 2ND
Pay: $16/hour but willing to increase based on Experience and Personality.
