Job Description
Responsibilities/Duties: Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial electronics on machinery. Diagnoses and repairs machine malfunctions as reported by knitters Assures that start-ups and restarts are as prompt as possible Completes and ensures that documentation is accurate Ensures that correct knitting settings are carried out for qualities and product specifications Provides and checks samples prior to production including new start-ups Monitors quality from knitting machines as well as makes department walk thru to visually spot check edge formation, width, and general appearance of product Checks and repairs machinery thus providing preventative maintenance Makes appropriate adjustments to machines in absence of knitters 5 years of experience as a mechanic 4 day work week - Monday thru Thursday. 1st shift.
