Job Description
We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role includes general cleaning, minor maintenance, and ensuring facilities are in good working order.
Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Empty trash and recycling bins
Restock supplies such as soap and paper products
Perform basic maintenance tasks and report major repairs
Ensure building security by locking doors and setting alarms as needed
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Must pass a background check
