Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inspector. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and will be trained to identify specific criteria during the inspection process. The responsibilities of the role include checking each piece for loose strings, wrinkles, shading, discoloration, scratches, and other imperfections. Additionally, the Inspector will be responsible for cleaning chrome with a magic eraser, steaming fabric when necessary, and ensuring that labels are attached as required.
Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly inspect each piece for quality and accuracy, adhering to specific guidelines and criteria. - Clean chrome surfaces using appropriate materials and steam fabric when necessary. - Demonstrate attention to detail by attaching labels as required and recording each piece on the designated week. - Take photographs of each piece with the corresponding label and number for documentation purposes. - Ensure that each piece meets quality standards and make necessary adjustments to improve its appearance before sending it to the pack line. - Maintain accurate and organized records, as record-keeping is critical to the role.
Qualifications: - Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform tasks that involve bending and lifting up to 35 lbs. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify imperfections in products. - Capacity to work Monday-Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, with half days on Fridays. - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Compensation: The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17 and provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with room for growth and development.
