Job Description
Experienced Fabric Cutter – Immediate Opening- Temp to Hire
A local, well-established furniture manufacturer is seeking experienced Fabric Cutters to join their team immediately.
Shift & Pay:
- 1st Shift
- Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM to 4:15 PM
Friday- 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- $20/hour
- Knowledge-based testing may be required
Position Responsibilities:
- Select appropriate fabric or leather based on job number or specifications
- Choose correct pattern templates for each product
- Outline cutting shapes for backs, seats, and other components using templates
- Cut materials accurately using scissors or electric cutting equipment
- Attach job tickets to materials and move completed pieces to the sewing department
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of fabric cutting experience in the furniture industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
