Front Desk Receptionist

- Answer phones, assist visitors, and provide information to the public and staff.
- Direct calls and requests and dispatch personnel when needed.
- Enter, update, and verify information in computer systems.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- Prepare, type, format, and proofread letters, reports, forms, and other documents.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic records.
- File documents and records using established alphabetical and numerical systems.
- Compile routine information using logs, forms, and standard procedures.
- Operate computers, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clerical experience involving public contact, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Good grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately enter data and prepare documents.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to organize files, records, and information.
- Ability to work professionally and courteously with the public and coworkers.
