CNC Machinist
Job Description
If you’re tired of being just another button pusher and want to be recognized as a true machinist, this is your opportunity! Kernersville fabrication company needs a CNC Machinist
Starting Pay is $18 / HR
Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
(Overtime as needed and some mandatory Saturdays)
Responsibilities include:
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
Read & Interpret specifications in work orders and drawings
Measures tolerances for each job during production, upon completion, and before passing parts to the next work station
Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions
Keep machines (and standards) running high; performs daily and scheduled maintenance on machine, tooling, and parts
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
High School Diploma
2+ year Technical degree beneficial
2+ years CNC machining experience (or strong apprenticeship background)
Pride in precision and craftsmanship. Team player with a strong work ethic
Performs detail-oriented tasks, exhibits good communication skills, and takes a positive approach to problem solving
Must have good math and mechanical aptitude; be able to use measuring devises for quality inspection
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Candidates should posses a positive attitude & be highly dependable
