CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
Shift: Mid-shift
11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm
Location: High Point
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in furniture, woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork manufacturing.
- Technical training or certification in CNC machining or manufacturing technology.
- Experience programming CNC equipment using G-code or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting CNC equipment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC routers, machining centers, and related equipment to manufacture furniture components according to engineering specifications.
- Load materials, fixtures, and tooling while ensuring proper machine setup prior to production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, work orders, and production specifications to produce accurate components.
- Program or edit CNC machine programs as required to improve quality and production efficiency.
