Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Bradley Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client, a supplier of high-quality building products in North Charleston.
Team oriented environment with great pay and benefits.
First shift M-F 7am-4pm with no weekends.
Temp to hire opportunity.
Duties:
Promptly greeting the customers when they arrive at the dock and picking tickets in a timely manner.
Assisting the customer with loading their order after it has been picked.
Interacting with customers to determine opportunities or possible problems.
Loading and unloading Lansing delivery trucks, common carriers, and all other deliveries to and from the warehouse, including transfers.
Ensuring the accuracy of these loads by counting all material and noting counts on the applicable paperwork - no inventory should leave the warehouse without a pick ticket or a hand ticket.
Checking all orders for accuracy independent of the person loading the order before the order leaves the branch.
Receiving customer returns at the dock and completing the return slips.
Properly rotating stock so that inventory moves on a first in/first out basis.
All incoming materials and customer returns should be restocked in the correct area the day they are received.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of forklift experience
CDL preferred
