Sheet Metal Welders Needed!
The Bradley Group is hiring for one of the leading industrial HVAC engineering, manufacturing, and construction companies in the southeastern United States. We are growing rapidly and looking to seeking skilled Sheet Metal Welders to join in one of our manufacturing plants in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
SCHEDULE: 1st shift: 6: 00am-4: 30pm

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
The Bradley Group is hiring for one of the leading industrial HVAC engineering, manufacturing, and construction companies in the southeastern United States. We are growing rapidly and looking to seeking skilled Sheet Metal Welders to join in one of our manufacturing plants in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
SCHEDULE: 1st shift: 6: 00am-4: 30pm
WELDER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan details of work order procedures; gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided
- Weld pieces of aluminum and stainless steel onto thin sheets of sheet metal using MIG and TIG processes
- Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage
- Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded
- Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area
- Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
- Understand and follow proper safety instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
EDUCATION:
- This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience as a certified welder as determined by the plant manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead
- Must be able to MIG and TIG weld stainless steel and aluminum onto thin sheet metal
- Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary
- Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
