Job Description
Looking for a 4-day weekend? The Bradley Group is searching for Sheet Metal Helpers for a HVAC equipment manufacturing company in High Point, NC. This exciting, fast paced role has Fridays off!
What are the hours?
1st shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday (Overtime available on Fridays)
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to work in teams of 4-5 people in different areas
- Ability to understand and follow proper safety instructions
- Lay-out duct for installation and look ahead for smooth work flow
- Spot and correct unsafe situations
- Sketch fitting for duct connections
- Ability to set HVAC equipment with cranes, boom trucks, lulls, and forklifts
- Perform Quality Control to ensure that all HVAC inline Mechanical Devices are installed according to Manufacturer's Instructions
Requirements are:
- Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
- Ability to read duct work and Architectural drawings
- Positive attitude
- Knowledge of signals for rigging
- Ability to understand all aspects of HVAC installation
- Knowledge of Welding and Fabrication of supports for equipment
- Knowledge of Air flow of systems: Supply, Return, Exhaust
- Be able to continue job if Superintendent is not available
