Job Summary:
Looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. Ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate and has at least one year of manufacturing experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a lathe, a drill press, a micrometer, and grinding machines
- Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
- Operate machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials
- Finish projects using manual tools
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
Requirements and Qualifications
- Manual Machinist vocational certificate or completed industry apprenticeship
- Previous experience working as a Manual Machinist or similar roles, not CNC.
