Machine Operator
Job Description
The Wire Draw Machine Operator is responsible for operating the wire draw machines productively and producing material within specification. This person is also responsible for changeovers, troubleshooting, and general housekeeping.
E s s e n t i a l D u t i e s a n d R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s
*Operate draw machine efficiently an accurately
*Ability to do quality checks, read a tape measure, and check straightness
*Operate a forklift
*Operate an overhead crane
*Ability to pull, bend, and push wire while setting up machine
*Ability to complete production report at the end of the shift
*Understand, maintain, and perform work according to quality and environmental standards
*Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
*Follow established company rules and regulations and safety precautions
*Work hours assigned including overtime as required.
